Airbus A380-800 Brake test
There are some fancy metric scientific numbers describing this test, but here they are in an easier to understand form:
Tire speed at contact: just over 200mph
Distance to complete stop: .7 miles
This test is checking to see if the Airbus's brakes can handle the plane landing in a situation where it is overweight, meaning full of passengers and a full load of fuel. This type of stop would only be used in an emergency.
