I went skiing this weekend and I stayed for two nights at a quaint little place up there. Generally I just drive up and drive back all by myself. I'll usually just grab a cheesesteak at Geno's on the way back, or if I'm with company we'll stop somewhere else.

Since I was with my family we stopped at this really nice diner called the Trivet. I ordered my obligatory turkey club which had some of the absolute best bacon on it. The turkey was juicy and there was a nice amount of mayo on it. My mother ordered onion rings and I ended up eating half of them. I HATE ONIONS. I've eaten onion rings before and enjoyed them, but with how delicious these rings were, they've manages to convert me from a fries on the side to a rings on the side kinda guy.

Fantastic! I hope I get to stop here again on the way back from one of my ski trips. Maybe sometime in early March I can grab someone to go with me.

This is pretty funny because of how the guy tries to escape. I've seen this on TV and some other places and all they show is the cop chasing after this guy. I posted this whole video to show that some cops really do care and use their Police discretion on crimes to make things better in people's lives.

I haven't had one from New York in a while... so here is the top of the Chrysler building. I love the detail this picture shows of the top of the building with the darkened edges and how the flat square pieces make the arch on the sides of the building.

$76 with free shipping, how can I refuse? If all lenses were less than $100 I'd probably try to buy them all just for kicks. Its nice and fast at 1.8 aperture and they claim it has "beautiful background blur". My mother wants me to take some pictures of her, so we'll see how they come out!

Its unfortunate that I have this camera, as I'm wishing summer would come faster (for better photos!). But I absolutely hate the heat and the humidity! Here's hoping we get a nice big snow dump before it gets warm!

Stunning. I just CAN'T believe some pictures that people take. These people seriously need to quit their job and get paid to do this or something. I'd pay this guy to take pictures. Look at the perceived curvature of the sky. Breathtaking!

This past Monday I went skiing in the Poconos. On my way back I stopped off here at Geno's Steaks and had my favorite "Whiz witout" cheesesteak. It was delicious! Geno's is far better than Pat's where they skimp on the whiz and their meat tastes bland. I was going to take a picture of my steak but it was 9F/-13C outside! And it was windy! I settled with this shot of their awesome building, which can probably be seen from space. (I also took one of Pat's, but who wants to see that?)

I just bought this from QVC.com. At one point in my life I thought I would never be buying things from the tele. Although I did complete the purchase on the internet, I first saw it as "Today's Special Value" on the QVC channel. It was an amazing $100 off of its regular retail price, I couldn't even find it cheaper on the onlines.

I've always been interested in this TomTom ONE GPS unit, seeing as it has blue tooth, SD MMC reader, and a thin profile. But to be honest, they were showing off how you can change navigation languages on the tele. The host mentioned that you can download additional voices, from actors even, on the internet. They voice they chose to use was John Cleese from the famous Monty Python group. So I bought it! I was also able to put it on an interest-free 3 month payment plan. This way I can stick it on my credit card and still be able to pay off the full balance at the end of the month.

I'm going skiing on Monday so I won't be able to use it on the way there. Hopefully it'll arrive during that week though, because I will be going skiing the following Monday too! This other ski area is a bit more difficult to get to, so hopefully it'll come in handy!
