first time for everything
MusicID--You just heard --One Of These Days-- by --Pink Floyd--See
http://tones.musicid.com for ring tones
Update: I made the above post from my cellphone, I don't know why it is no longer included in a wrapper so I can theme it as a mobile post.
Its the first time I heard this song, and I found out the title by using a cool service on my phone. MusicID (the link above selling ring tones) allows me to dial #ID (#43) on my mobile and place my cellphone near the speaker for 15 seconds. After 15 seconds, the call ends and shortly after I receive the above message from their service as a text message, telling me what song it was. It does cost $0.99 which is $0.99 more than Yes.com. What the MusicID service has over Yes.com is that it is immediate, and Yes.com doesn't always list every song a station plays.

Here is a photo using a technique called High Dynamic Range. It involves taking a couple of underexposed and overexposed images and merging them into one using special software. Some day I hope to take a couple of these photographs, but at the moment, I have photographers-block! (Like writers block!)

A century-plus old math problem, once believed to be unsolvable
finally has a solution. The hand written solution would cover some twenty square miles (51.8 km²), or the entire island of Manhattan. This problem known as "Lie group E8" (pronounced Lee), and others, were invented by a Norwegian in 1887. The puzzle spans 248 dimensions, what that means, I don't really know, other than it is more that the three that we can easily understand.
The solution, stored on a computer, takes up 60GB, or 45 days straight of MP3 tracks!

Apparently this is video of a record breaking attempt at 16 cars simultaneously driving on their side. I've seen this done before, but it still amazes me that it is even possible. It gets even better at the end where they all turn around and drive the opposite direction! I didn't know that was possible!

Im bored at work. These fools messed up my paycheck again this week. Sigh! I can't wait to have some Chick-fil-a tonight! The last time I had any was Thursday!
I just bought the lens that took this photo, the Canon EF-S 10-22mm. I can't wait to get it in the mail! I should have it by Thursday to take some sweet pics! Spring begins this week too, so looks like I'll be outside more often.

Today I got my very own
Domo-kun in the mail from Japan. I took the above photo of him and I also took a photo to place on his Wikipedia page which you can find using the above link. Domo-kun is the mascot of Japan's NHK television station. Maybe tomorrow I'll take some pictures of him outside in the warm weather with nice sunlight!
You can also find the un-boxing at my flickr page ...

Here is what I eat nearly every day. When I work at the store in Mt Laurel, NJ, I go to the Chick-Fil-A in the parking lot of the store. In the box are 8 chicken nuggets, in the bag is a chicken sandwich (which I usually don't get at the same time as the nuggets). I get some good buffalo sauce and their great waffle fries, too. Then I wash it down with a Dr. Pepper! I took this photo myself.

Jeremy Clarkson, host of Top Gear, once said "If you are a pedophile, the safest place for you to be is driving on the highway going 55mph and using your turn signal, and no one would ever bother you". It's the truth, unless the cops are actively looking for your vehicle, they have no reason to stop you if you are obeying all traffic laws, no matter how many people you just murdered and put in your freezer.
Now if you happen to be carrying a small child worth of marijuana in your trunk, your best bet is to heed the above guidelines. Of course, not everyone is that bright. With your 43 pounds of pot in your trunk, you can always do what this fellow did, and
crash right into a state trooper. An unnamed 54 year old drove into a roadblock in I-95 in South Carolina. The roadblock was up to block traffic due to other car accidents from earlier in the day. So if you want your $150,000 of weed to be seized and have some serious felonies on your docket, please drive into a police car at 70 miles per hour.

Bankrobber2007 at MySpace wants to be your friend, and the
cops hope you already know him. After four bank robberies by this man in Arkansas, Fort Smith police set up this MySpace page in the hopes that someone will recognize him.
High quality images of the subject robbing a U.S. Bank branch on February are accompanied by anecdotal captions such as "I'm robbing the bank in Fort Smith here.... I'm so cool!!!". The page is written in first person from the subject's point of view. The background music playing on the page is "Citizens on Patrol" from the movie Police Academy.
This truly is a sign of the times; a wanted poster that used to just be posted on sign poles around town are now reachable but not just everyone in Arkansas, but the rest of the world. Hopefully such ingenious gum-shoe detective work will result in the rapid apprehension of this criminal.

Would you believe that people actually photograph SEPTA? Its not exactly the cleanliest or convenient, but occasionally you end with with nice little photographs like this.
